MORE THAN A BOXING GYM
SAVE THIS GENERATION
THROUGH THE ART OF BOXING.
Mad House Boxing uses the sport of boxing to develop stronger athletes, more confident young people, disciplined competitors, and better individuals.

BOXING IS THE TOOL.
DEVELOPMENT IS THE GOAL.
Mad House Boxing isn't built around simply teaching people how to throw punches.
We believe boxing can teach lessons that extend far beyond the ring.
Boxing requires you to listen. It requires you to work. It requires you to make corrections. It requires discipline when you don't feel like training. It requires courage when something is difficult. It teaches you how to respond when things don't go your way. And it gives you the opportunity to see what happens when consistency meets hard work.
That's why we use boxing as a vehicle for:
WE DEVELOP PEOPLE THROUGH BOXING.
BUILT FROM A PASSION FOR BOXING.
BUILT TO SERVE PEOPLE.
Mad House Boxing was founded in 2014 with a vision for boxing and athletic development. Over more than a decade, Mad House has grown from that original vision into a multi-location boxing and sports-performance organization serving youth, adults, recreational members, and competitive athletes across Carroll County, Maryland.
Through consistent program development, a structured youth-development philosophy, and a competitive boxing pathway, Mad House has continued to build something that goes beyond a typical gym.
OUR MISSION
SAVE THIS GENERATION THROUGH THE ART OF BOXING.
Our mission is to use boxing to provide young people and adults with an environment where they can develop physically, mentally, and personally.
We want our athletes to become stronger. We want them to become more confident. We want them to learn discipline. We want them to take responsibility. We want them to develop resilience. We want them to understand that progress is earned through consistent effort.
And for those who choose competitive boxing, we want them prepared to represent themselves, their families, their coaches, and Mad House with character.
WHAT WE STAND FOR.
HONOR
Carry yourself in a way that represents your family, your team, and yourself with pride.
Honor means understanding that how you conduct yourself matters.
INTEGRITY
Do what's right — even when nobody is watching.
Character matters inside and outside the gym.
KNOWLEDGE
Learn the sport.
Boxing isn't just toughness. Athletes should understand technique, movement, defense, conditioning, strategy, and why they're being taught something.
WISDOM
Know when and how to use what you've learned.
Knowledge becomes valuable when athletes learn how to apply it correctly.
COURAGE
Do difficult things even when you're uncomfortable.
Courage isn't the absence of fear. It's being willing to face challenges and continue moving forward.
SELF-DISCIPLINE
Do what needs to be done even when you don't feel like doing it.
Progress requires consistency.
RESPECT
Respect the sport. Respect your coaches. Respect your teammates. Respect your opponents. Respect yourself.
RESPONSIBILITY
Take ownership of your actions and your development.
Your coach can teach you. Your teammates can push you. But ultimately, you must do the work.
RESILIENCE
Learn how to respond when things don't go your way.
Not every round will be easy. Not every practice will be perfect. Not every competition will end the way you want. Keep developing.
WHY WE PUT SO MUCH INTO OUR KIDS.
Young people are still developing who they are. That makes coaching them a responsibility.
At Mad House Boxing, our goal isn't simply to create young fighters. Our goal is to help develop young people.
BOTH CAN SUCCEED HERE.
A child does not need to compete to benefit from boxing.
PROGRESS SHOULD BE MEASURABLE.
Mad House Boxing's Measurable Progression Matrix©
Mad House developed a structured progression system because athletes should have something meaningful to work toward.
THIS IS NOT A BELT-RANKING SYSTEM.
Athletes progress based on demonstrated development and readiness — not simply attendance. The system is designed for competitive AND non-competitive athletes.
NOT EVERYONE HAS TO FIGHT.
Mad House is a real boxing gym. We develop competitive fighters. But competition is not the only reason someone trains here.
Some people come to:
For those athletes, we provide a structured competitive pathway:
DIFFERENT GOALS. SAME STANDARD OF DEVELOPMENT.
COACHING IS A RESPONSIBILITY.
A coach can have a major influence on an athlete. That's especially true when coaching children.
FAITH. CHARACTER. PURPOSE.
Mad House Boxing believes character matters.
We believe success should never require compromising integrity, responsibility, respect, or how we treat other people.
Our goal is to create an environment where athletes are challenged to grow physically while also being encouraged to develop character, discipline, and purpose.
Mad House is welcoming to families and athletes from all backgrounds in the community.
MAD HOUSE IS PART OF THE COMMUNITY.
Mad House Boxing isn't meant to exist only inside four gym walls. We want to positively impact the communities we serve — in Westminster, Eldersburg, and across Carroll County, Maryland.
